polymer, started in March 1960 by the British polymer community is one of the very first scientific journals in the field. The journal has enjoyed a consistently growing impact in recent years (current impact factor 3.065) and now covers a wide spectrum of topics of current interest in polymer science.

The 3-day symposium will consist of 15 plenary lectures (of 50 minutes each), given by outstanding scientists whose exceptionally creative work opens up new frontiers for polymer science.

In addition, there will be 5 poster sessions allowing for the viewing of a large number of poster presentations.  Abstracts covering all aspects of modern polymer science are welcome. To submit your abstract for poster presentation at the symposium please follow this link.

The deadline for receiving abstracts for poster presentations is: 1 December 2008
