The conference program will include three poster sessions, allowing for viewing of a large number of poster presentations. Posters covering all aspects of modern polymer science are welcome. Each poster session will cover the whole spectrum of topics within polymer science.
Best Poster Awards: One Best Poster Award will be offered for each of the three poster sessions. Each participant at the Symposium will be given 3 voting ballots upon registration and will be expected to vote for their favourite poster at the end of each of the three poster sessions. The voting box will be placed at the Elsevier booth. The winners of the 3 Best Poster Awards will be announced at the Awards Ceremony at the end of the Symposium.
There will be no publication of proceedings from the symposium. All participants are encouraged to submit REGULAR papers to polymer and their papers will be treated as regular submissions to the journal. Authors should keep in mind that the impact factor of polymer is 3.573 and its rejection rate is over 70% which means that less than 30% of all papers submitted to the journal get accepted and published.
Due to the considerable interest in the symposium, each participant will have the opportunity to present a maximum of 2 (two) posters.
